I bought resin years ago at Michael’s. I loved the idea of it but I couldn’t handle the toxic smell. I’ve noticed more resins on the market advertising that they’re low odor, so I bought Clear Resin to experiment with since the price was good. No smell! It was a night and day difference compared to my last experience! I made some little holders to use for tea lights or succulent planters. I’m going to give these to my girls’ teachers for end-of-school gifts. Next, I’m going to try my hand at making keychains. Really glad I decided to revisit resin - I am having so much fun with it!
I create resin art and sell it through various channels - my website, some gallery shops and at art shows. I typically use a very expensive resin but was searching for something less expensive so I could experiment with the geode technique. I found Clear Resin and I highly recommend it. It behaves just the same as my expensive artist resin - easy to work with, no odor or any other negative aspects. It worked beautifully both clear and with different tints added. I’ll be honest, I’ll be adding Clear Resin to more of my work from now on!
Just do a search for epoxy resin and you’ll see how many brands have cropped up over the past couple years, and how many of them say they’re non toxic, safe, low odor, voc free. I’ve tried so many of these so-called “safe” resins in the past only to find that these buzzword claims were false. Most of them were the lower price point resins made overseas, so I’ve learned to just save my money and stay away if a product sounds too good to be true. Having said all that, I saw Clear Resin recently and something made me stop and take a look. The resin is made in the USA. There weren’t a ton of reviews, but they were positive. I requested the safety data sheet - not only did I get a prompt reply (not always the case) but I was happy to see there were no health hazard warnings. I was still a little hesitant, but pulled the trigger. Have to say, my doubts were proven wrong with Clear Resin. Nice big bottles for the price. Simple 1:1 ratio, no bad odor, no issues. I'm a happy customer now and glad I took a chance. Next time you’re looking for an epoxy, I’ll save you the trouble of deciding - try Clear Resin. You’ll be happy you did.

The name really does say it all. Clear, glossy, brilliant results and a reasonable price. Simple enough for a complete newbie like me to learn and affordable enough to practice with while I get the hang of resin. My first project was a set of mica powder and alcohol ink coasters. I love the results - I can’t believe I made them! If you’re curious about resin, I recommend you get started with Clear Resin for a great experience!
I’ve been making Cricut crafts (mainly paper) for a couple of years. I see lots of people in my Facebook groups using resin over Cricut vinyl decals to make signs, coasters, bookmarks, and keychains. I wanted to try resin keychains in a bone shape for my dog mom friends, with a Cricut decal of each pet’s name. Since I’m new to resin, I didn’t want to spend too much in case I didn’t like working with it. I came across Clear Resin and immediately liked that it’s safe to use at home, and that it’s an artist quality resin, priced to be affordable. I had a great time making and personalizing the keychains and I’m obsessed with how they turned out! The resin was as advertised - nice and clear, dried SO shiny, a little bendy at first (which I heard was normal) but rock hard after a couple of days. I LOVE the results. Great intro to resin and I can’t wait to make more resin & Cricut crafts!
I’m a crafter and have been wanting to try epoxy resin for so long, but since I’d only considered buying the non-toxic, artist quality brands, I could never justify the cost. Then I saw Clear Resin online. It had all the same safety features as the artist’s resins and great reviews, so I decided to check it out. Clear Resin was easy to use for a beginner like me, with a nice long working time. Best of all, it doesn't have a strong smell and it’s priced so well which means I can keep experimenting with my new resin hobby!
Was looking for resin for some small projects and didn’t want to use my pricey art resin. Lots of resins out there to choose from but I liked what I saw with Clear Resin. I made a tie-dye tray for my daughter’s desk. Clear Resin had no noxious odor, was easy to measure and mix, and took the pigments beautifully. It has a perfect viscosity which is crucial in any kind of flow art: the colors were able to mix and mingle but still held their own as the resin cured. (Whereas, if a resin has too thin a consistency, the colors keep blending and eventually become one big muddled mess.) The resin was dry the next day, but could still be indented with a fingernail. After a few days, it was totally solid and the colors were just as vibrant as when I first poured. Glad I found this brand, I was really impressed with the quality, the price and its performance!
I’d never used resin before but I’ve heard so much about it and I’ve seen so many artists I follow using it on social media. Clear Resin was a good price. It arrived quickly and in good condition. It was simple to work with, and had no bad smell which I’ve heard can be an issue with other resins. My advice for other beginners is follow the directions, measure carefully, stir the resin slowly so you don’t create too many bubbles and you can’t go wrong. And use a torch for a perfect finish. I love how it sealed my artwork and made it come to life! Very happy with my purchase. I’d be happy to buy this resin for future pieces.
Clear Resin isn’t cheap but it’s not expensive either compared to some of the other artist resins. Overall, it’s a very good quality product and really nice to work with. I used it to make jewelry trays and it was perfect, with and without pigments. Didn’t have any issues with bubbles and it came out shiny, clear and solid. You won’t be disappointed.
I use resin on my acrylic abstracts. I saw Clear Resin and bought it out of curiosity. I wanted to verify the quality and see how it behaved, so I first used it on some detail work instead of a whole painting. I have to admit - I’m impressed with it! Don’t let the low price fool you. Clear Resin is just as good as the more expensive stuff I’ve used for years. Clear, glossy, and a pleasure to work with. Now my only problem is that I go through gallons of resin. Really hope they add larger quantities to their line up. Clear Resin, I need bigger bottles please!
Clear Resin is: Reasonably priced. Excellent quality. Easy to work with. Non Toxic. Odor Free. And gave beautiful results. I love the ocean art coasters I made with it. Can’t wait to experiment with more projects.
After trying multiple resin brands (many manufactured in China) that gave me headaches, I’ve realized that safety is far more important than getting a good deal. Happily, I’ve found a way to have both with Clear Resin. It has everything I want from a resin (US made, non-toxic, food safe, made for art at a good price) and none of the stuff I don’t want (it has no smell, no solvent fumes, no VOCS). This resin does everything it promises to do. It’s easy and enjoyable to use, with excellent results at an unbeatable price. Most of all, I feel good using it to create food safe items like charcuterie boards and serving trays - and I feel like my customers will be safe too. Very happy and will buy this resin again.
This was my first time using this type of resin. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m really happy with my results. I love the 1:1 ratio of this product. So much easier than weighing resin on scales. I was impressed with Clear Resin’s consistency. It’s easy to work with, easy to spread, and the bubbles come out very easily with a torch. All in all, I recommend this product if you’re new to epoxy, especially if you’re on a budget.
